MEET YOUR TECHNICIAN

Commercial kitchen expertise,
now on your patio.

Hi, I'm Tyler - a CFESA-certified Electric & Gas food service technician with years of experience maintaining commercial cooking equipment, dish machines, outdoor equipment, and residential appliances across MetroWest Boston.

After servicing equipment in high-end restaurants, QSR kitchens, public schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, corporate kitchens, cafeterias, commissaries, senior living facilities, country clubs, and residences, plus supporting new-builds, fresh installs, and appliance setup work, I decided to bring that same level of professionalism, safety standards, and technical skill directly to homeowners, builders, commercial kitchens, rental owners, and property managers who need equipment to work right.

PROJECT COORDINATION

GrillTech can manage the full service path: appliance-side diagnosis and repair, portable propane equipment, outdoor appliance service up to existing shutoffs or receptacles, and coordination of licensed trades or landscape crews when a project expands into permanent piping, electrical circuits, permits, or buildout.

Why routine maintenance matters.

A well-maintained grill is safer, tastes better, and lasts years longer.

Safety First

Propane leaks are serious. Annual inspections catch issues before they become dangerous.

Better Efficiency

Clean burners and proper gas flow mean less wasted propane and more even cooking.

Longer Grill Life

Prevent corrosion and component failure. Many grills last 15+ years with proper care.

Better Food

Even heat distribution and clean grates deliver superior searing and flavor.

Frequently asked questions.

How often should I service my propane grill?
We recommend a full professional service once per year, ideally before the start of grilling season (March-April). If you grill heavily (3+ times per week), twice a year is ideal.
Do you service rentals, apartments, and venues?
Yes. We offer one-time service and recurring in-season maintenance for Airbnb hosts, short-term rentals, apartment common-area grills, condo associations, pool clubs, HOAs, and outdoor venues. Photo documentation is included for property accounts.
Do you work on more than grills?
Yes. In addition to propane and built-in grills, GrillTech services many outdoor cooking and flame appliances including smokers, flat-top griddles, outdoor kitchen equipment, gas fire pits, patio heaters, and similar equipment. Send a few photos and we can confirm fit before scheduling.
Do you handle new installs or outdoor kitchen projects?
Yes. GrillTech supports new-builds, fresh installs, outdoor kitchen appliances, and manufacturer-specific setup or commissioning work. GrillTech can manage the service path from appliance-side work through coordination of licensed plumbers, pipefitters, electricians, or landscape crews when a project expands into permanent piping, circuits, permits, or buildout.
Do you service restaurants and corporate kitchens?
Yes. GrillTech supports indoor and outdoor equipment for restaurants, QSR kitchens, corporate kitchens, commissaries, clubs, venues, schools, healthcare facilities, and similar commercial food-service sites. Commercial work is quoted with a written scope that covers site access, shutdown windows, documentation, insurance requirements, and any utility-work coordination needed.
What commercial equipment do you work on?
Hot-side cooking equipment and dish machines, including convection ovens, combi ovens, fryers, ranges, griddles, induction burners, clamshell grills, charbroilers, steamers, holding equipment, dish machines, and similar gas or electric commercial appliances. Tyler brings commercial field experience and brand-specific training from prior service work. Warranty or authorized-service work is confirmed before quoting; GrillTech does not claim authorized agent status unless that status has been established for the specific brand and job.
How do you handle utility work?
GrillTech can manage the full service path: appliance-side diagnosis and repair, portable propane equipment, outdoor appliance service up to existing shutoffs or receptacles, and coordination of licensed plumbers, pipefitters, electricians, or landscape crews when a project expands into permanent piping, electrical circuits, permits, or construction support.
What if I smell propane or suspect a leak?
Turn off the propane tank or appliance shutoff immediately and do not use the equipment. We prioritize safety concerns, perform appliance-side checks and repairs, and coordinate licensed trade support when the concern extends beyond the appliance.
Do you work on all grill brands?
Yes - Weber, Traeger, Napoleon, Broil King, Char-Broil, KitchenAid, Lynx, DCS, Blaze, Fire Magic, Bull, Blackstone, Big Green Egg, and virtually every major brand. We also service built-in grills, smokers, griddles, fire pits, patio heaters, and outdoor cooking appliances.
